Outland partnered with filmmakers Nate Dodge, Ryan Rumpca, and Ian Niklaus for this short documentary piece. We traveled to Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard to board a sailboat and spend 10 days exploring the west coast.

While there, we dove into the life and story of Peter Schurke. Peters father, Paul Schurke, is an accomplished polar explorer whose reputation proceeds him. Peter, inspired by his father’s life of adventure, carries on that same legacy. Captaining various sailboats, Peter has explored nearly every fjord, beach, and inlet of this remote corner of the arctic. He shares his perspective on the climate, tourism, and adventure.

After the returning home, Outland took point on post production and pulling the edit together.
